Pamela Fiori made publishing history in May 1993, when she became the first woman to be named editor in chief of Town & Country, America's oldest continuously published general-interest magazine. (It dates back to 1846.)
Fiori revitalized Town & Country by expanding the boundaries of the magazine to include a greater variety of topics, voices, personalities and columns. Her focus on philanthropy and diversity has elevated the magazine's stature. Under her editorship, Town & Country remains the premier luxury lifestyle magazine in America.
In addition to Town & Country, she has also produced a new upscale magazine, Town & Country Travel, which launched in October 2003. Fiori's other initiatives include a special Weddings annual and several books on entertaining, weddings and etiquette. She writes a montly column for Town & Country, as well as feature articles for both Town & Country and Town & Country Travel.
